Enorian

Greetings, Aetolians.
I come to you today with a number of facts. These facts show truth about
a city I've fought and died for many times more than most of it's own
citizens. This post is about the city of Enorian, and what it has
become.
Most likely it won't do a single drop of good or bad in this world, but
I would like to inform you either way. One of the Sentaari's goals is to
spread enlightenment, and here I do. I spread enlightenment through
information, so that each and everyone who took the effort to read this
post will be able to make an informed decision on who they will give
their allegiance to.
Enorian didn't like the Sentaari. They haven't for some time, and this
is mostly because the Sentaari guild has refused to go along with their
goal of working against everything that doesn't meld with Enorian's
views. For this reason, they have taken every single opportunity and
reason they can to cast the Sentaari out.
Lets look at the reason they're using now which seems to have been their
main concern over the past years: our choice of patron - Lady Niuri.
When we first took Lady Niuri as our patron, I spent long days
discussing with Enorian leadership that Her actions that may have
appeared to be dark were not a reflection of the Sentaari guild, and we
did not and do not support them. She may have supported some 'dark'
events, but only for Her search for wisdom. Was this an act of darkness?
Perhaps. But we would not follow Lady Niuri blindly, we would make our
own decisions and then ask Her to aide us into pursuing our goals.
Despite threats of being enemied and actively hunted by the city of
Enorian, the guild stood behind their decision based on an honest
referendum, and Lady Niuri stayed. Things calmed down.
Now once again they claimed us to be evil because we have Lady Niuri as
our Patron. They "would not stand for a guild patroning Lady Niuri
within Enorian's walls", or so they said. They destroyed the shrine and
locked the guildhall, completely disregarding the well-being of novices
and our guild tutor, and this all without even a moment's notice for the
guild leadership. The Sentaari were no longer a part of Enorian they
said, and we were to move out or replace our Patron. Long discussions
followed again, and even an apology from Enorian's leader, Sir
Cuchulainn. I applaud him for that. However, given the situation it
seemed better to me, and indeed, most of the Sentaari, to move out of
Enorian regardless. I put everything at work right at that very moment
to find us a suitable home, a new home. I also mentioned to Sir
Cuchulainn that although it wasn't because of Enorian's ultimatum, as we
were leaving anyway, I would put Lady Niuri's position up for discussion
within the Sentaari, possibly having a referendum about whether to have
Her remain as our Patron or not, because Her actions may indeed have
collided with our own ideals.
However, the respite we received seemed not to last long. On the 16th of
Lleian, 147 MA, Cuchulainn once again spoke to me. It appeared he was
angry we hadn't moved yet, though at this moment, all we could do really
was wait for Powerful Hands to move our guildhall. Nevertheless he was
angry.
He also seemed to be angry that we hadn't had a referendum on Lady
Niuri's position. I'm not sure I see why he should concern himself with
that, as we're moving out anyway and it's no longer any of his business,
and no promise was made that a -referendum- would be held concerning Her
patronage, but, he was angry.
Out of his anger, I, and every Sentaari leader along with me, has been
enemied to the city of Enorian and most of our guildhall has been locked
up, save for the library and access to our guild tutor. At least this
time thought is given to the novices. And I genuinely would like to
thank Enorian for that.
As we're talking about Lady Niuri anyway... I seem to know an Enorian
leader who himself is a devout follower of Lady Niuri. I have much
respect for this man, and I fear I may endanger him to the same
ultimatum as the Sentaari faced. Nevertheless, I feel wonder The
Sentaari ask Lady Niuri to aide them in the decisions they make
themselves and must leave for that, while one of their own leaders
actively and devoutly follows Her, and thus Her actions. Somehow, this
seems a bit odd to me.... Is Enorian just using false arguments to get
rid of one of their guilds who seem to be less fanatical about ridding
the world of so called evil? Or has Enorian become power without
thought, Tyranny, -evil- itself?
I realize that I may lose my shop over this. For now it's just closed
and with me enemied to the city, there's not much I could do with it
anyway, not even retrieve my possessions out of it. I also know I may
have endangered the Enorian leader, and I am sorry for that, but I had
to do my duty and write these words. I also know that these words here
may have stirred a lot of anger and hatred towards me and the Sentaari
as a whole, and may cause even more strife to enter this world.
I am angry myself at the moment, indeed. Nevertheless, this post
contains facts, not lies. Make of it what you will. I know how I think
about Enorian now.
