A Thought

Greetings Sapience,

Now, I may be old and a bit senile, but am I the only one that thinks
all this talk of "protecting the innocents" and the like is a bit
ridiculous? Don't get me wrong, I understand people's reasons for
wanting to do so, but do you really think you can stop everyone in the
realm from hunting? What's next? No hunting Orcs or Ogres? Then I assume
the rats will be next? I doubt everyone living in our fair world will
limit their experience gaining efforts to just questing. Not to mention,
what that would do to the population of these different races, and
animals. It would throw the Rhythm into disarray, food sources would run
short, and famine will follow. The supply of herbs will be eaten away by
the overabundance of wildlife. Who would want to live in a world like
that?

My humble opinion is that people should think about the bigger scope of
their actions, and how it would affect the careful balance of the Rhythm
and the world as a whole.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Ios, in the year 146 MA.
