Actions taken

The Council of Viziers voted unanimously in deciding to have the
Sentaari pick a new patron, or leave the city. This came about because
of a conversation I had with Lady Niuri, and one I shared. Hold me
responsible for this if you wish, as I am the one who first put this
course of events into action. I asked the Lady Niuri if the Cabalists
wanted to further experiment with corruption, would she support it? She
replied in the affirmative, as long as they were 'thoughtfully planned'.

It was on this information that we decided She was not a suitable patron
for an Enorian guild.

As for the Shrine . . .

The Shrine to the Lady Niuri placed in the Sentaari Guildhall was
allowed to the Sentaari, as an Enorian Guild at the time, to have a
shrine honouring their patron. Shrine approval within the confides of
Enorian begins and ends with the Council of Viziers. It is not based on
the whim of some orderhead who choses to place a shrine there. Because
Lady Niuri was the patron of the Sentaari, we chose to allow the shrine
in the Monestary.

With GrandMistress Takara's choice to move the Sentaari out of Enorian,
she broke all ties with the city. In response, the city seized the
Monestary and locked it. The only shrine to Niuri in the city, which was
-only- in the Guildhall in the first place because She was both the
Patron and the Sentaari were an Enorian guild, was removed by the
Council. We revoked the permission to have said shrine in the Guildhall,
which is presently under Enorian control. We're not sure what we're
going to do with it.

We sought out members of Lady Niuri's order to inform them of our
decision and offer them the chance to remove it, but none would either
acknowledge they were in Her order or none were present. Therefore, we
acted and removed the shrine ourselves.

Noone will dictate to the City of Enorian what we must and must not do
within our walls in terms of Shrines. We have the authority to both
approve and revoke shrine placement at any given time.

If your Goddess had not approved of experimentation with Corruption, the
shrine would not have been destroyed and we would not be in this mess.
Perhaps you should ask your patron why she chose to do something that
would infuriate Enorian, rather then seek to blame Enorian for taking
action as a result of Lady Niuri's actions.

Daskalos Aruvar, Vizier of Enorian

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Variach, in the year 146 MA.
