The Corruption of the Tree

Up to now, I took little interest in this nonsense about this Tree. But
as Imperia was delivering her daily reports to Me, she provided Me with
some interesting information, that I thought I'd share with all of you.
If one is to define corruption as a movement from the central principles
of one's belief, (which I think is a fair estimate of it) then could it
not be possible that things are preventing its cure?
The Flame and Tree were always seen in some way as part of My dear
Sister, Lleis. In the cycle of life, She stood 'against', if you will,
Haern and the Underking. Therefore, a 'corruption' of Lleis and Her
realm would be anything thaat moved Her things
closer towards the realms of Haern and the Underking.
And wouldn't you know it, but there stands not a arrow's path away a
shrine of Haern, sanctifying this corrupted Tree. Haern's realm is known
for its severity; could they not be revelling in this shift of the Flame
from Renewal to Severity?
Ultimately, I still do not care what occurs to the Tree. The Garden was
destroyed many years ago, and thus Our Divine Home no longer sits in its
boughs. Do what you will mortals, whether it is to make each other's
lives more bearable or more harsh.
