How quickly you forget...

I was a much younger man during my first Ashtan conflict, the conflict
in which another city decided to join in the fray and was dealt with
harshly. It was during this conflict that Lord Severn placed a bounty on
the heads of many, and those who sought to collect the rewards died many
a time, yet so very few bounties were collected.
Seeking out bounties on the Light will only serve to remind you that the
Light cannot be stopped by any being. I offer no threats, no witty
words. I offer no challenges or impassioned pleas. I offer you your
life. And before you would so willingly "die for your cause," because I
assure you that death is the only outlet for such enmity, think of what
it is to live for your cause instead. Think of how selfish it is for you
to be slain defending a cause that knows not itself anymore.
Povox's cause is not just, nor does it have any merit or argument. He
would just as soon kill any of you that would seek to retrieve his
bounty's promises. If all you seek is blood money then come if you will,
for all you will find is blood.
