Read my words again, for you failed to interpret them correctly. You
perceive that the conflicting statements made by Zephy and myself
indicate a lack of unity, but in truth the only thing lacking is your
understanding. Both statements are correct.
Daelar's coup was sneaky and underhanded; it was perhaps worthy of the
Artificer Himself, yet he was exploiting an inherent weakness of
civilised society, whilst succumbing to the same. It amuses me to see
your world crippled by such failures, but it was still sneaky and
underhanded.
Daelar is to be admired for being willing to pay the price, for using
his every weapon at hand - yet he is also to be reviled. He will
probably never again achieve the trust in others necessary to achieve a
political position - especially not in Ashtan.
