Election Fraud

I speak for myself in this matter, and not for my guild, though most of
them have expressed the same amusement of this situation that I have.
If the Magi want to fix their elections by outguilding the viable
candidates, that is their business. And when their guild goes the way of
all other guilds that have similarly fixed elections (I think the Cabal
is -still- recovering), I can only laugh with my Magi friends and say,
"I told you so." As it becomes more and more apparent on the -surface-
that elections are fixed, the guild and its guildmaster begin to
steadily lose credibility among other guilds and guildmasters in the
world view. But then again, who took the Magi seriously in the first
place? Their guild has had more Secretaries loot the guild coffers and
quit than any other guild in the history of Aetolia.
Don't mistake the public silence for lack of caring about such an issue.
To those of us old enough to remember the fallacies of the Magi guild,
this particular event is just another notch in its already sullied
history, as their guild slowly becomes an exercise in futility.
