No need

Greetings all of sapience.

I promise I will refrain from posting here again, I'de rather keep the
gold to spar... but anyways.

I want to restate, reinforce, that there is no need to follow in the
steps of the Sentinels, and most likly in the steps of many who may be
greatly influenced by our past Matron.

Clear as day here it is:

(Or clear as night to some -grin-)

Supposed you a GM. Suppose you find out indirectly that someone in your
Guild is witholding information which could have tremendious impact.

Suppose confronting that individual doesn't reveal the information.

Supposed you are a GM, and notice someone perhaps trying to encit people
into looking at everything wrong within your own guild, while you are
working hard to do the grunt work, the little things that don't get
noticed that no one wants to do, and yet the same things that make the
whole.

Now add the betrayal and frustration of having the Patron of your own
guild publicly voice support to someone contesting you.

Now, the fact remains, no one not directly involved with Omeg and Valie
will know just how far it went, and I admit, I cannot pretend to.

We have as Magi, had great help, great leadership, but we also have had
a weight at times over all of our heads. Everyone's likely felt it.. it
pulls at you and makes you fidgety.. nervous and other mixed feelings.
It's Divine intervention. When the Hand of the Divine is all too obvious
in matters which should be dealt with by mortals only.. are at least the
mortals involved believe it to be the case.
And to add to that, the mortals are kept in the dark about why Someone
is trying to specificly make a change. What can be so important about
having a member of Someone's Order in power? Why must mortals be so
influenced by Someone such as to destroy another's chances?
Don't we have choice? Is it all such that we are simply pupets in the
palces where we feel we can make the most change?

When such a hand is felt too often, and when many start to feel they
have to thread carfully, then is it not a time for change? It is most
definitly a time to wke up, and realise we must be masters of ourselves,
and not meerly tools.

Don't believe what you don't know for a fact. Especially concerning
people.
