Magi, Contemporary and Historic

Greetings, Sapience.

I am currently in the throes of writing a journal chronicling the
personalities, experiences, adventures and failures of notable Magi
within the Realm.

My project has been casually referred to as a "Magi Notables", though my
real intent is much greater in scope. It is to this end that I seek your
help, as I am confident that many of you have stories to tell.

Consequently, I ask that each of you that has held a Mage close to your
heart, in your esteem, or even in total contempt, please contact me by
message or letter detailing your perspective. I seek to recount the
myriad stories of my and my Guild's great ancestry and provide it as a
gift to the Magi and to the Realm.

From my work, I only hope to provide a prism, as it were, through which
we can view a small part of the past and apply their lessons and
experiences to the future. Too often we among Sapience find ourselves
unwittingly re-inventing the wheel, because we have not adequately
remembered the lessons learned by our forefathers. I ask that each of
you, regardless of your opinion (be it emphatically positive,
apathetically neutral, or stridently negative), please help me recapture
just a small bit of the past. Though I understand that my work being
focused entirely on Magi may seem to you a slight upon your Guilds or
Houses, please understand that my endeavor is so framed only because I
first look to my own heritage.

Respectfully,

Shahvani Shahpur-Corey, Magus Khodmokhtar

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Lleian, in the year 140 MA.
