Confusion

As Daelar is being hailed as some force opposed to Corruption, I took
the time to compose a list of his past deeds. Enjoy!

1. When challenged in the Cabal for his failures, Daelar ousted those
who opposed him.

2. When it became inevitable that Daelar would be replaced as the
Conduit in the Cabal and ousted for his crimes, he stole gold from the
guild.

3. Daelar manipulated the arrival of Lord Rahn as patron of Ashtan while
a Seeker of the Flame. He did so with Saga. A referendum was opened to
attempt to poll the citizens yet interestingly; Daelar opened this
referendum when his allies were about. No more than 10 to 12 citizens
voted before it was closed and Lord Rahn was put in place.

4. Daelar stole commodities and gold from Ashtan which he gave to
Enorian. Call it what you will, thieving is thieving. There is no honor,
no courage, and certainly no Valor in stealing.

5. Daelar swore an oath to the city of Ashtan that he would support the
city so long as he was a citizen. Had Daelar wished to oppose Ashtan, he
could have easily done so without stealing and lying to the populace.
How can he possibly accuse any person in Ashtan of being Corrupt when he
used Corruption to try and ensure a swift win for his beliefs?

6. Daelar has ousted persons in Ashtan who have attempted to replace him
trying to delay his ousting for betrayal and robbery (awfully familiar
to what he did with the Cabalists, no?).

What else is needed to clarify that Daelar is a liar, Daelar is a thief,
Daelar is a traitor... Daelar is Corrupt? Should Daelar have wished to
oppose Corruption in Ashtan, nothing halted him from leaving Ashtan and
joining Enorian. Afterwards, the two parties could work to declare war
on Ashtan. Instead, he use manipulation and thievery to attempt a swift,
cheap win. I ask Enorian... is this seriously what you dare to support?
Is that the set of standards that the "Beacon of Light" shall lead by
example?

My best guess thus far is that the general consensus of some is that
"Corruption is a bad thing and we will oppose it... unless we can use it
for our own gain." Interesting.

And on a final thought to Lord Arion, I ask you mighty one... You did
not support a former war against Ashtan because it lacked Valor, does
this one?
