Greetings!,
In response to light not existing as a contrast of darkness, then I
challenge you: Go into a room where there is nothing but a big, solid
white emptiness, without the knowledge of darkness existing, and tell me
what you have? You have.. a bright room. Can you say it is truly light?
Well.. no. How do you know that there isn't something else that makes
the light you are in seem black by comparison? And as you say the
Darkness is merely a lack of something, I could just as easily say,
"Light is nothing more than an absence of darkness."
Your own conceptions are the ones that are confused and without merit. I
accept that Light is an inevitable half of Darkness, and that the two
combined are simply the sum of a perfect circle as required by Natural
Order. The Light cannot claim eternal victory over the Night just as
simply as the Night cannot claim eternal victory over the Light. It's
simple.
As much as you can assault the darkness or defend against its own
advances, in the end the sides are still the same. There are those
mortals that embrace the darkness as well, and they have absolutely no
problem with standing in the full light at noon. What does this prove?
Absolutely nothing, although I could just as easily say, "It proves that
the light is too foolish to notice an adversary even in its midst."
Your posts are nothing more than a feeble attempt to rally people to a
cause that is ultimately futile. You can rally them, sure. You can fight
against the Darkness, indeed. I cannot stop you from doing so, nor would
I try. Such is your lot in life, and the path you have chosen to lead.
But you must inevitably accept the fact that said darkness will still
remain, no matter how hard you fight against it. Just as dawn comes to
overtake even the blackest of nights, so also does Twilight come to slay
even the brightest of days.
