Greetings,
Just to state a point: The night engulfs the land each day not because
the sun "allows" it. It is an inevitable part of the daily cycle. I
could just as easily say, "The dawn comes only because the blanket of
darkness allows the first rays of sunlight to break its continuity." We
both know that this is as false as saying that night is "allowed" to do
anything.
Yes, the night falls when the sun rises, just as the light falls when
the sun sets. This doesn't prove the eternal strength of anything over
anything else. Once again, I could just as easily say, "The light rises
to her peak only to be cast down and overtaken again by the advancing
darkness." And yet again, we both know this is a ridiculous analogy to
prove anything.
The one thing in your post that is on cue: Yes, those of Enorian are the
Beacon of Light, and yes, you will always stand against the darkness.
However, in the end.. Light is nothing without Darkness to compare it
to, and it cannot exist without casting a shadow. As much as you stand
against it and fight it.. it will always remain in the end.
