Dear friends,

Tis strange that my first words since my return from the
shadowlands must also be my last for but a small while.

The spirit of she I gave my life for, of she who lives on
in spirit, and she who has borne my love since my birth
and I must soon travel together away to uncharted lands
upon a quest of greatest importance. I can not be deterred
from this course.

To those I will miss, and in turn be missed by, know always
that I am alive and well. Erana has promised that this
quest shall not claim my life. I WILL return. How long
it will be, I can not say. How many years may pass, I can
not say either. Know only that I look forward to seeing thee
again once more soon.

To those who won't, thou shall not berid of me this easy.
Be good to those I care about, or I shall find ways to
haunt thee upon my return. Beware!

Above all, to those who sacrificed much to free my spirit
from the shadowlands and unto me give the gift of life anew:
Would that there were words in our language to express my
appreciation, and gratitude with the fulness with which it
swells in my heart. Know only that the gifts and sacrifices
given of your time and efforts shall never be forgotten.
Thou wilt be in the heart of Erana and I always. Perhaps
we shall find a way to thank thee fully upon our return.

May courage, wisdom, and freedom forever guide thy paths.
