Do you know what the tenets of the priests were? Likely not since you
likely knew little of the true priests. Priests were those who showed
compassion, unlike the lumifaeries. Yes, I know some will say I am a
hyprocrit myself for the way I left, but I left because I was talked
down to and almost spit upon by so many and grew tired of it.

Those who were priests before the time of Sahmie were kind and loving,
caring for all those around and wishing to aide those in need. Need is
different from the ways of Lumifaeries. It matters not if someone needs
help, you'd rather just destroy them first.

Do you know all of your enemies? My step-father is a Consanguine. That
is why I was looked down upon. Yes, he seemed to regret his ways and
even was a priest in the past..but because he made a MISTAKE he was
frowned upon. We just prayed for the day he could be healed and made
whole again...and we hoped it would be through the powers of healing
someday, with the help of the eventual return of the Lady of Renewal and
Hope.

This was all interrupted..our hopes and dreams..with Sahmie deciding
that the priests were in need of cleansing. By this time, I had given up
on the those who were "good" for their cruelty to those they did not
know first and just hated for what they were. But I knew deep down..in
the very depths of the old priests, that there would be hope someday of
change. But Sahmie stopped it all. She took it upon herself to shatter
so many dreams that people had, hopes, and thoughts. She considered
nothing but her own true objectives in this realm.

Someone who is a priest should show compassion, love, want to teach
others about why they are wrong and minister to their needs...rather
then put them on a stake and burn them alive. A priest without
compassion is worse then any necromancer. At least the people we call
"evil" have hearts and souls that see through skin-deep. It was odd
being accepted by those I was fighting against more then those who I was
helping support. I never understood that..that's why, even though I
loved being a Priest and having the ability to help out, I never went
Lumifaerie. I knew what they would be and refused to let my compassion
die.

Azumi shows promise and hope to rebuild what bits are left of those with
compassion. He made A MISTAKE with his angel and has to pay for it all
of his life. I've watched him cry upon my shoulder before, when we were
together, and see his true sorrow and pain for what he did. Does regret
mean nothing to Lumifaeries? Obviously not. Repentence for sins done is
better then pushing someone who is sorry to not being thus because of
blatant hatred and disgust. Are you Lumifaeries perfect? No, you all
make mistakes, I bet, on a day to day basis. I know you strive to be
perfect..but even that in itself is a flaw. No person can be perfect,
only the gods are perfect. They made us to have flaws so that we might
keep them entertained. There will never be a perfect person.

I've already paid my penance for my past transgressions and decisions
and have moved on. As long as I know the Lady of Renewal still shines
her joyous hope upon me in my dreams and thoughts, I know I am to be
only at peace with myself. She forgave me for the sin I transgressed
against Her and taught me to rise above the ways I see. Maybe everyone
should take a look into Her ways and learn of compassion. It really
would make the day go by better.
