There are a few True Priests left. Lessik and Morgan come to mind. But
you speak of the that 'exercize their ministry among the sinful people
of Ashtan and Spinesreach'.

Tell me...does the Rapist who is forcing people to Inferno the Forests
one of these who are risking their 'good name' to purify those cities?

A Priest is simply a spiritual leader, with no affiliation to good or
evil. From Severn and His Priests to Lord Lanos and His, the term
'priest' is a spiritual leader for a certain sect. Do not confuse the
Priesthood and righteousness as interchangable. People like Sigfried and
Illpalazzo have proven that such is not the case.

The Priesthood was disbanded because they quit being healers and
teachers and even sought relations with Vampires. Sahmie's Revelation
showed us that the path of the Priests were full of hypocrisy and
corruption and the Priesthood was disbanded. Lord Rahn gifted Sahmie
with the abilities of the Flame and she taught them to us, the
Luminaries, as those opposed to the Darkness and Evil. We are Warriors
of the Light. We are not healers. We, along with the Daru, have but one
mission on this Vampire infested plane - to rid the world of the
Darkness.

You may accuse us of perverting that which the Priesthood stood for. And
you're right. Because, in the end, the Priesthood stood for hypocrisy
and corruption. And that is something we refuse to become. We will not
follow the path the Priests took. We have set upon a path, a difficult
one to be sure, but a noble one. One to eliminate the biggest threat
this realm has ever seen.

The Luminaries have awakened like a Phoenix and we are no longer
allowing our members to do whatever they want. We have taken a stand and
are more actively fighting the Darkness. Those of you that don't like
it, get over it. Our path is our own. Who are you to judge us?
