Greetings Sapience,

It has been many years since I have voiced my opinions to the public, or
shown my feelings of what goes on in this world to anyone else but
myself. But of late I have been toiling within, torn between my feelings
and thoughts. I put quill to paper today in hopes to allow you a glimpse
of how recent events have turned my mind towards something different
than many have seen of me before.

As I read through the posts and arguments between my guild and the
Vampiric race I question myself of which is right and wrong... The laws
of my guild and ideals of it are to be respected and observed with
reverance as it is our ways of life, and our guidance. But as I watch
these events unfold before me I am sickened at what I see and read.
Luminaries assaulting people for little more reason than their race or
creed. I admit, I too have let my temper flare and have assaulted people
where I do believe I should not have. I am sorry for this, to all I have
offended or attacked unjustly or without a proper reason. But this is
not why I am writing this today. I come to you asking...What has
happened to Sapience? Why have we all of a sudden, after many years of
devote study and accomplishment suddenly thrown ourselves into open war
with one another? Do really have that much to hate each other for, that
we slay each other on a whim, not carrying why or what for? I personally
have thought about this many times of the past few months, wondering why
I carry my mace. Or why I possess the skills of healing and justice, yet
I slay those of innocence just for being a Vampire? No this is not how
it was meant to be, not to slay people or things just for their being
Vampires, Indorani, or Cabalists.

With this thought, I drop my mace. I shall no longer hunt those without
reason, given race or creed is no differance. If you do not harm me, my
family, or attack my guild unprovoked you have no fear of me. I shall
not attack you for someone of my guilds ignorance in attacking you
without cause, it is no longer in my heart to kill those that have not
assaulted others or slain people without just cause. But know this, if
you do attack any of the three I speak about without provocation or
reason. You shall seek me, for I will hunt you down with the all the
fire I possess in my heart to remove you from this world.

With this I take my leave Sapience, I hope the others of my faith come
to their senses and see the wrong they are doing and repent for what
they have done. Be well my fair Sapience, may your souls be safe.
