The Light and the Dark

Greetings...This is, I believe my first public post that I have written.
I have read all of this nonsense about the Evils of vampires and
necromancers, and have endured long enough without complaint. That is
the reason I set my quill to paper today. To discuss this matter. Not to
fight over it, or bicker like little children, only to talk of it,
because I really am curious about your beliefs. Upon reading this,
perhaps many of you will decided to simply draw your swords and see the
shed of my blood as an end to this dispute. I will not, and cannot stop
you. But finish reading my statements, and then let me know why is it
that you think us corrupt.
Kaisers ramblings, however meaningless it appeared, seemed more
understandable than the other two who posted. Daskalos, I have met you
only once in person, but I have heard much about you. You fight
necromancers and vampires, proclaiming them to be evil and corrupt. I
will not deny that we are evil, I am not that ignorant. Every mortal,
and immortal has at least a touch of it. But the real question, and one
I have been pondering for quite a while, is What is Evil? You might
say that evil is those that kills the weak, and the innocent. Have you
not killed the innocent or weak before? According to you, you tried to
kill someone who wanted you to leave the Rite. Then you proceeded to
kill the two people that had not wanted bloodshed. They had not acted
wrongly toward you, only attended the Rite of which the performer
allowed them to. The decision of who could attend should not be decided
by you, but by the person who performs the Rite. You have also said that
we cannot exist in the light. Mayhap we cant, though I do not see that
as a reason to hunt us down. We are perhaps nocturnal in being, or we
hunt during the night, but I still do not see that being evil. Does not
the owl also hunt during the night? I do not see you pointing fingers at
them. You say everything about us is evil and dark. Explain that.
Furthermore, you say that you do it all in the name of good and light.
What is good? I would think being good meant helping others, or
performing acts of kindness. Giving love, immolating someone, and
helping a novice out would all be considered good deeds, I think. Not
one of these has not been performed by a member of the consanguine.
Everything about us is evil and dark? I think not. Maybe not everything
about us is good or light, and I dont believe everything about you is
good or light neither.
I do not wish for this post to be the cause of my death by you, but if
that is how you wish to solve the disagreement, so be it.
