Around when all of these battles first began, Brin enemied myself and
all of the Swordsaints from Ashtan for killing Ashtan citizens who were
raiding the various villages. Of course we didn't agree with this and
our response to being enemied was to stop respecting Ashtan law and we
began raids upon the city, charging in in groups or shooting arrows into
it at people we were after.

Having made private peace agreements with Aquifn and Chimaera and with
the Aisu/AFF war having apparently ended as well, I can now truthfully
say that I intend no longer to attack any Ashtan citizens, either within
or outside of the city walls unless they attack me first. By publicly
agreeing to this Brin has agreed to unenemy me from Ashtan, and has also
told me she will unenemy everyone else who was declared an enemy if they
make a post similiar to mine. I of course hope that she will keep her
side of the bargain in this matter.

Also, to those who have not realized it yet, I have ceased my
guardianship of the various villages for now. I hope that the villagers
will not think less of me for this and I hope that I made at least a bit
of a difference somewhere. To the people of Shastaan and Tasur'ke in
particular, perhaps some day in the future I will return to you but I
feel that I have done all that I can for now and further efforts would
be counter-productive. I will not hunt people in these villages, so
don't ask, but I will no longer be bending over backwards to help them
either.

In closing though, I am a warrior, and the chances of my never fighting
with an Ashtan citizen again are slim as sooner or later even if I am
not attacked myself I will probably take up arms to defend my friends. I
hope that Brin and future Ashtan rulers will not make me an enemy again
if/when this time comes as the logic behind it is weak. Until I was
branded an enemy, I never harmed anyone inside of Ashtan. Only
afterwards did I take any aggressive action within the city, so
hopefully you will agree with me that enemying me is less of staving off
a threat then it is inviting one.
