Hunting Grounds

Greetings Aetolia,

Some people may be a little confused with the recent, seemingly out of
the blue, references to the Hunting Grounds. I will clarify the truth of
what they are, the purpose they serve, and the 'rules' that are linked
to it.

The Hunting Ground is essentially just a place Haern's Will is absolute.
When you visit the Hunting Grounds, you beat in time with the Rhythm.
You are forced to live life in a certain manner - that manner being the
same way in which every wild beast lives. You have no choice in the
matter. Even should you think to refuse, and die because of it - you
will have, in dying, lived in tune with the Rhythm.

When you enter, your primary thought is survival. You become both the
Hunter and the Hunted. You are 'safe' from no one. You live by your
strength, and you die by your weakness.

There is no rule against harvesting within the Hunting Grounds. If you
are in need, then take what you can to better your chance of survival.
Beware though - while you harvest, you are still, and you are Hunted.
You *will* be Hunted.

Obversely, as the Predator, you need to respect your prey. There is no
possible reason not to immolate your target when they fall; they deserve
it simply by being there. Do not lure people to the grounds, that you
may take advantage of "Haern's Will" (read: lack of PK rules). Remember
that while such a tactic is undoubtably effective - the Hunt in such a
situation would begin outside of the Hunting Grounds, and would have
repercussions here in Aetolia.
