Midnight Age or Age of Dawn?

Greetings Irawn, and the rest of the world.
I read your post, and to get straight to the point, I was
really, really surprised. You find some obstacles in the
way of darkness and then complain that we are in the Mid-
night Age and so the darkness should always win?
Honestly, you can't really mean that. And you can't
expect the divine to simply begin, for example, randomly
smiting followers of Light or Good for the sake of us
(maybe) living in an age of darkness. What do you expect
to happen?
The landmarks might be seen as an indicator of the
balance of power between the dark and the light, but as
it is with all things, this balance is subject to changes.
Yes, we did very well in the landmarking season, and even
better in this one, but honestly, I hardly see anybody
landmarking for your side with Zephy, Mikal and Moyra not
being around so much. But that might just be my per-
ception being fouled by my old eyes. Fact is, however,
three or four seasons ago and for a long time before that
we hardly ever got more than 3 devotion marks each season.
Does that mean that the good side has just recently been
gifted with Spirituality or Devotion, or that everybody
decided all of a sudden to fight for good? If the latter
is the case, I would suggest you ponder why this is so
and do not demand a divine intervention. As far as I know,
your side has been getting that already.
The skills of the Spirituality, Devotion and Illumination
might really be a pain in your... might really be a pain.
So are your skills for most of the good side. And the
devastating effects don't really come for spending your
newbie lessons. But even though, looking at the top of the
combat rankings I see three vampires, one Syssin and one
Infernal for the dark side, only one Luminary, though, and
one with the paladin skills. So the skills of the Light
side are so superior to yours?
The Global happenings - I think the last time you could
say the dark side was winning - which is a very odd term
in this context - would be the destruction of the Demon
Mirror that lead to Lanos being captured on the shadow
plane. But as I mentioned before, I am old and my memory
seems to play tricks on me sometimes. But then again,
what do you expect to happen if you do not take it upon
yourself to push those happenings to end the way you want
them to end? A divine hand that takes yours and guides
you to the way to 'win'? Never has anything been achieved
by standing there and complaining or waiting for divine
help. Help is for those that already put effort in
reaching their goals.
Finally you claiming the vampires being not really evil
anymore. I cannot say much to that as I don't know too
many of your kind, safe my brother, but as benevolent as
he might do it, if he began to drink my blood, I felt the
strong urge to behead him, and I'm pretty sure he would
understand my motivation. So let's face the facts,
Vampires need to drink blood, which somehow contradicts
the term of benevolence. Your claim of being benevolent
somehow only gives a reason why the darkness or the evil
has no countable success as of late: Not even those that
call themselves of the darkness want to be dark anymore,
they only want to wear black clothes and look scary.
I do that all the time whenever I can find plain black
clothes (urge tailors), and ask the paladins novices, I can
be pretty scary if I want, but I wouldn't call me a follower
of darkness.
Anyway, as a final word, if you want something to change,
work for the change. If you demand it from the divine, I
would guess that the only help was be a crackling blue
light in the skies.
In honour,
