Briefly a reply...

I am only writing this reply to part of your post regarding the
guildmaster of the Daru, who happens to be my husband, and his
designation as "Chief of Pain".

You will note in the scroll HELP RAHN that perfection is achieved
through painful labor. "Perfection is not obtained without sacrifice,"
it reads. "The scars and pains of improvement are carried for a
lifetime," it proclaims. To achieve perfection, one must endure great
pains.

This is why my husband is a "Chief of Pain". To be thrust, over and
over, into the fire, trying to perfect yourself, generates immense pain.
His process, my process...all of ours, rather, will never be complete
until we too achieve what Lord Rahn did and become immortal. Its
proclamation is simply that he is an agent of Rahn's presence in the
realm, a wielder of the pain that ultimately brings perfection when it
is learned from.

Though I follow another God, I try to learn as much as I can about all
the Divine beings. I encourage you to explore similar thoughts as you
explore your own path. It is only through exploration of your enemy that
you recall why he is your enemy, and through re-examining your friend
that your faith in them is renewed.

Yours,
Rosalind Thetis

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Severin, in the year 133 MA.
