Oppression

With all due respect to everyone and their patrons--

I must alert the world of the general oppression that I have fallen
victim to. A certain Goddess require your service for eternity, but
neglects you the right to know before hand (previously, before joining
the order). This is an attack against everyone who stands for freedom,
as it neglects you the right to know the services you are bound to
before joining such a tyrannical organization.

When your plans are to leave in peace, not arouse any suspicion, and not
bother the organization any futher with your own personal and petty
problems, then you should be able to do so, and not be hounded
meticulously when you have not done any wrong doing.

Punishment should not be an exceptional consequence to being mortal.

Oppression of your own personal freedom as a citizen of Aetolia should
not be meddled with for such petty matters as such.

Invisible contracts should not bind mortals if they are written in
unvisible ink.
Citizens of Aetolia should not have to suffer because of their
rationality, and there should be no consequences for having the ability
to change your mind, or having decision making abilities (especially if
you are not immediately forbidden to do so. And especially if you are
not told you are forbidden to do so).

I do agree that a Goddess has perfect right to do whatever they wish,
but to punish someone for doing no wrong doing is irrational, immature,
and ..evil. I do agree that everyone should accept the conseqences for
their actions, but an exception to this edict is that rediculous
consequences for innocence be invalid. I believe that my punishment is
unfair, unjust, and very unhonourable for someone of such a high statue
as 'Goddess'. I'm not whining, but I disagree that a punishment should
even be delt out to someone who was not told before hand that
consequential actions would be taken if the unforseen contract is
broken. I hope that Aetolians from all around the land will join
together, and help even out these unjust actions and help the victims of
this oppression of our very freedom.

But of course, With all due respect..
