Hail Sapience,
I have never before posted upon these boards, and take no delight in
doing so now. However, I am compelled to speak this time as I have seen
post after post of those that are NOT within our ranks determining what
is best for the Infernal Guild.
As previously explained by Fortenrus, his action is based upon the
honourable path, not for the intent of protecting the weak. Know that
per our treaty with Bloodloch, it is the Duty of the Infernal Guild to
see to the Protection of the Consanguine Houses that reside therein. The
Rogues (outdated as the term is) that are to be hunted, may not reside
directly within Bloodloch. However in almost all cases, a member of
their House does. I know most feel that Duty is a fleeting term and
means little in this feeble age, however, those of us that believe in
the tenants of what it is to be an Infernal feel that it is the tie that
binds us as a whole.
Know that we do believe in Honour, same as the Paladins. However, we do
not pride ourselves as "champions" of the inept. Such is for their ilk
alone. If ye are not of us, speak not of us, and do not presume to pass
judgment upon those of our Ranks if ye feel that they do not "strictly
follow what was in the help scroll" for Honour cannae be determined by a
scroll, nor can the true characteristics that define a Guild. Look to
thineself, and how true to the "help scroll" ye have been, before daring
to pass judgment upon a matter ye know nothing of.
In Strength, Honour and Darkness,
Caisil-Chro Baodh Metias Faelin, Infernal Magistrate
