Rogue vampire - defined

Greetings,

Classically, a "rogue" vampire is defined as a vampire that is not a
member of a House that is not associated with the Imperium. Thus, it is
possible for a "rogue" vampire to be in a House which would then
therefore be a "rogue" House. In recent decades, the interpretation of a
rogue vampire has shifted to a vampire that was sired outside of a House
and has no formal connection to those of his bloodline regardless if
said House is of the Imperium or not. For the most part, the original
definition has been abandoned and any vampire that is part of an
established House is not considered a rogue by most of the vampire
populace (of course, the majority of the vampire populace is not of the
Imperium thus the view of the majority accommodates those that make it
up)
