Observations

I have read the posts that have covered the boards in the
last few months. I have thought about the many things
that was spoken in the public boards.
I have read accusations, prejudices, and at times was
amazed at how so little people actually knew.

If you wish to know something about another, study them.
Get to know them, find out why they are as they are.
I have lived and worked all my life within the city
of Bloodloch. As a mortal, I have come within close
confines with many different aspects of Consanguine culture.
I have accepted some, questioned others, and learned what
I didn't understand.

One of the things that was stated here was the lack of
free will Vampires tend to have. Their sires controlling
their actions.
This statement though is possibly true in 'some' rare cases.
Is far from the truth. Yes, they are bound to their sire.
Bound in ways we as mortals would think of family.
For they are exactly that. A sire is more then just a sire
in most cases. A sire is bound to his childe as much as his
childe is bound to him. They teach, nuture the youngester
as a thrall, till moment they are embraced. Even then that
Nuturing doesn't cease.

I will give an example from History.
Princess Kauller with help of some overlords, coupped the
current leadership of Abhorash. Yet, she was his childe.
And even so she had the 'free will' to decide that her
along with many of those within power at the time, simply
had enough of the current leadership.
It is true he could beckon her, however she learned to
adapt and misted when beckoned. Hence, his hold of her
will was limited, he could kill her if he chose, but
he couldn't bend her 'free will'.

The same was true of many that followed her at the time.
Grand Duchess Quillian another example.

I have seen bounds even closer among the consanguine
then I have within my own family, even myself with
my own children. Even as much as I do care for them.

Control is as much as one is willing to concede.
A sire could have complete control or none, most respect
the bound they have with their childe, and do not try
to enforce their will upon them.

Question what you read, then learn of it before making
accusations.
