For those who may be interested, here is a happy postscript to the walk
of flowers mentioned in public post 2090. The parents of the young
Flickering Flame contacted me, having figured out that it was their son.
The son returned the flowers, and the two parents -- wonderful people
who I feel privileged to have met -- walked hand in hand along the road
and replaced the flowers. So what began as a negative was turned into an
even greater positive, as more people of honor and consciousness added
their participation.

On the face of it this may seem a small thing, but for those of us who
look deeper it has great significance. This is how healing happens. This
is how things get better. If a step is taken off the path, two steps may
be required to get back on -- yet the path may be regained.

Enough said. I just wanted to share this for the benefit of anyone who
may have felt a bit discouraged about the early fate of the flowers
along the road. Of course they were picked up later, as they were meant
to be, by passers-by. If you found a flower along the road in the past
month or so, kindly reflect on what it means.
