The 'crusade' against Ashtan.

This latest turn of events makes utterly no sense. Has not Ashtan been
punished enough for its genocide on the plantlife of Sapience? And more
importantly, do you have any real purpose for fighting a war, other than
for the sake of destruction?
As I see it, Ashtan has done nothing to actively challenge the Light.
They may be a city of evil, but as I see it, they just want peace and a
chance to rebuild, as do Shallam and Duiran. This violence has gone on
far too long, and fighting for the sake of fighting is in no way
furthering the Light. I believe now that the Council of Light, and the
guilds encompassed in it, have truly died. You serve your own twisted
vision of Light, and use it to justify attacking Ashtan, a city that did
you no harm. Your wars prove nothing except that you lack the patience
and intelligence to sort things out diplomatically.
And you call them apathetic, while they actively work at rebuilding
their city. You ignore your guilds and peaceful aspects of life to
destroy them for no reason. That isn't Light. That's Darkness in its
worst aspect, and you can't even see it because you're blinded with your
false beliefs. I say to you that this war is pointless and proves
nothing of consequence, and it will only be held against you in the
future.
