The war

You call us an apathetic waste, yet here we are, fighting, and dieing to
preserve our freedom. That is hardly apathetic. If not for Ashtan, where
would we go? Pretty much everyone in Ashtan has done nothing to cause
the guilds to leave, that damage was done by former Ashtanites, who have
since moved on, to their respective new homes. Many of whm are either
retired, or themselves apathetic wastes of skin.
I have spent my entire life fighting for one cause or another, I have
never ever been a stagnant person. hell, I would have, and did offer to
help Bloodloch finish off Ashtan. Unfortuneately, Bloodlochs leader cant
make a decision on her own to save her life. I am all about change, and
have undergone so many changes myself that the idea of rebuilding here
is not something i would be opposed to doing. There is nothing i would
like to see more than for Ashtan to rebuild itself and bring glory.
This war is completely counter productive, and in the end makes us all,
and i do mean -all- nothing but petty thugs and murderers. We jump you,
you jump us, the only thing that will actually result in this conflict
overall, is a bunch of new plants skirting the roadsides from both
sides.
You all want to change Ashtan, you want to see it not be an apathetic
cesspool, etc, so help propose change, give ideas, not just to the
people who live here, but the very gods themselves. No one can do
anything until we all band together, and take a productive stand.
If you want to talk about apathetic, and stagnant, lets look at
something thats as plain as day here. The city of light, and goodness.
home of the luminaries, Daru, and Paladins, working with those who would
corrupt, destroy, torture, maim innocent life. That shows a consistency
and loyalty to your own beliefs that reminds me of a post tequila bender
bowel movement. Im not saying im a beacon of goodness. my past speaks
for itself. all I can do is attempt to move forward, and attempt to
create, not destroy. but no one will ever accomplish that until peace
talks happen. and I mean something realistic. No one here will meet
anyones demands, we do have our pride, but I personally believe that the
city of Ashtan would be willing to agree to mutually beneficial terms. I
do not claim to speak for Ashtans ruling council, but that just makes
sense to me
