liklihood of a lack of balance in classes, Vampires out monk monks. This
is fact, live with it. So your bbt does 700 dmg, don't use it. So
luminaries can kill most people in 3 smites...don't let them hit you in
three smites. So a vampire can't feed...don't feed...i'm sure your 1300
damage frenzy is sufficient to kill most anyone. (And feeding is easy,
you guys just suck.) You can tank damage like crazy, cure afflictions no
problem, and celerity can be a cool move too. Furthermore, Occultists
were in no way shape or form a weak class before the link ability. An
occulist who could barely read could beat most anyone just through
hanged man and starvation, they don't really need the link ability to
make them effective on a level equal to the other guilds, but it does
make sense that an exact replica of them can throw tarot cards, so
quitcher bitchin. And to all you monks who think you're overpowered,
anyone who's achieved level 85 or higher because of the monks insane
ability to bash knows that a monk becomes unkillable at such a high
level, unless you are Clio, because well...she sucks. Anyway, a
low-medium level monk has no business fighting in a 1 on 1 fight the
conventional way. Monks, you have the most powerful distance attacks out
there, figure out how to use them. Also, if you're not a complete
retard, getting a mindlock takes about 10 seconds. Lucky for all you
non-monks out there...almost every monk is a retard. Monk is the most
versatile class in the realm, making it the most useful. It can handle a
1 on 1 fight, (probably won't win, but it can compete), and kicks
serious ass in group fights. Three monks chillin can anally rape groups
with kaichoke. I know i've killed groups of 7-10 alone using gimpy
tricks. If you don't know how to use your class effectively, you don't
have the right to bitch. Occies and cabalists have their gimpy tricks
laid out for them pretty clearly, ours are a bit more hidden, but their
potential is a helluvalot higher. I say again, you just suck, thats why
you can't pull some of the cool as hell crap a monk can do off. I
thoroughly enjoyed rambling, but i'm going to make a point here at the
end of this little blarb thingy: no class is overpowered or
underpowered, their strengths and weaknesses are merely in different
areas. If you are too dense to figure out how to effectively use your
class at fighting, then you don't deserve to be a notable warrior,
because you suck at life. Oh, and if anyone, ever has the right to bitch
about their class sucking, its the Syssin, so unless you are a Syssin,
you can shut the hell up.
