Valistar,

Telepathy is useless. what novice fighter cant cure paralysis? or
stupidity? radiance is absolutely pointless since a prism tattoo is an
easy counter. mind command? keep up deafness, a basic defence, and you
cant even command your enemy to sleep. batter? again. useless.

now on to tekura.

I clearly remember fighting a young sentaari, Cope (not sure if shes
still sentaari) and at that time had less than 2k health. she stood
there, and tanked 8 bbt's in a row, using only a health vial to cure it.
(for maybe 600 damage or so after the downgrade). and as far as I've
always thought, the further you advance in a skillset, the more powerful
the skills should be. and that appears to be no longer the case. people
complain about overpowered skills, because you dont think you should die
to it, but really, you died. plain and simple. last time i fought a
knight, who used disembowel, i was disemboweled for simething like 1800.
do i complain that disembowel is overpowered? hell no. disembowel is a
skill that only a master of chivalry can use. should it be reduced to
minimal damage? no. but im sure someone will complain about how they
died to a transcendant knight for so much damage, and eventually it'll
be downgraded.

skills arent downgraded because the administration thinks they are too
much, they are downgraded because people whine and cant accept the fact
that someone either got lucky, and got off a good move to take their
life, or is simply a better fighter.

then again, I suppose if in my dragon stance, i was pummeling people for
1800 in a single combo, i wouldnt complain about how telepathy sucks,
because tekura would be decent.

want overpowered? lets think about this. your locked in combat with an
Indorani (still cant get used to that namechange) and they take to the
skies on their chariot. dopleganger comes in flinging tarot at you. now
you get to kill mr. fakeindorani, plus, the real deal. try keeping your
targettting together then. you might as well be fighting 2 people. a lot
of people have problems with pronunciation too. ever try saying (typing)
"Doppleganger" in the heat of combat when everything is happening so
fast you cant keep up to it? then trying to switch back to your main
target?

however, I do offer my cudos to the indorani, because for the next
little while, they will be owning the battlefields of aetolia

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Severin, in the year 129 MA.
