Thank you

Greetings Aetolians,

The latest posts, as you've noticed, have covered the 'overpowered' or
'underpowered' status of a few guilds, or skillsets. I would like to
personally thank Xzato and Mephiston for admitting that we(Syssin) -are-
underpowered. Our guild, despite its years of research, years of
promises, and years of pleas, has yet to be gifted with the advancement
of our own wisdom. We've studied everything we can, from bleeding to
warping. Every possible skill has been thoroughly reviewed and tested. I
cannot review all our findings, but I will give you a short analysis as
to why we feel we are underpowered.

First of all, when looking over guilds, you'll notice that -every-
guild, excluding the Magi and possible Sentinels (I may be wrong, I
don't know too much about them) have a literal instakill. This does,
indeed, include the Syssin. However, when you give a quick once over to
each instakill, you'll notice some unique differences, mainly the fact
that voyria can be used by -anyone-, and it takes 28 seconds to complete
its job. That's 28 seconds to keep your opponent from sipping a vial.
Some would say we have gecko to venomlock, but ask yourselves and answer
honestly - When was the last time YOU were venomlocked for more than 10
seconds?

As for the Magi and Sentinels and their inability to use an 'instakill'.
Both of these are blessed with massive damage attacks, and some fairly
decent ents. Two holobombs can kill nearly -anyone- if used in unison,
and white flame is just sickening. Combined with the constant fire
damage from the magi ent, and the insane abilities of the sentinel's
ents, standing up to these can be tough for anyone.

Secondly, you must look at our ability to deliver damage. We can bite
you, two out of every three balances. This'll do a grand total of 1300
over three balances, if we bite with camus on both, and if you have no
antidotes. Add in antidotes, it can drop to about 500 a bite. Kinda like
a rajamalan DSL, or a thrall troll frenzy. Except, we don't get
afflictions with each bite, and we don't cause stun. Look at noose.
Ignoring the INSANE requirements and time it takes to even get it off,
this does 700 damage a gag, and anyone with one fifth a brain can escape
it. Anyone with more than one fifth a brain will have never gotten
noosed anyway. Moving along to garrote, this is my favorite damage
skill. While it can do decent damage, it has the same requirements as a
cleave. Your opponent has to be prone for it to even matter, and if your
opponent is Consanguine, it'll do about 400. Slit is practically useless
after you're above level 50. This will give your opponent about 250
bleeding. That's not damage. Now bows is where we do not fail, I must
admit. However, if you're smart, you'll know how to avoid falling to our
bow, and it won't be a problem. And trust me, there's a way.

Health is a major concern for any fighting snake. Realizing the average
Syssin is a rajamalan between levels 60-75, that means we average about
2.7k health per Syssin. Just for comparision, a holo bomb can do around
2.2k to me, if I've got my defenses up. Valistar's axekick does 1.9k,
and a rajamalan axekick does 1.3k. This doesn't leave you with much to
work with! To even stand as a Syssin, we have to transcend avoidance, as
well as subterfuge and venom, and if your opponent has more than 5k
health, you can almost never win. While looking over every other guild,
you'll realize that each has a way to regain health. And those that
can't heal, take so little damage in the first place, it's entirely
unnecessary to heal. From hands, to bliss, to drain, empathy, vigour,
transmute, boosted regeneration, kaiheal, sacrifice, infusion, vitality,
grove rain, or even sacrifice (Just a few examples), we simply lack any
form of health regeneration.

In conclusion, I've probably wasted time and space posting this, but I'm
hoping the Divine will finally take notice and hear our pleas, and grant
us the knowledge we've worked so hard for, even when we were snakes. I
appreciate all your patience in reading this, and if you agree or
disagree, I'd be honored to discuss it with you. Thanks again,
