Lady Slyphe is misinformed about what has transpired. The only
organizatin Ashtan declared war against was the Duiran Council. The
negotiations for peace began over seven months ago and Ashtan has not
heard a word from the Alliance until today. The Alliance has been
attempting to starve our city of commodities by keeping the negotiations
a slow process. Ashtan began capturing the Morgun forest, an area held
by the city prior the the Alliances declaration of war. Duiran
intervened and actively attempted to destroy our supply lines, this
manuver forced us to destroy their troops an action that plunged us into
war with them. We did not wish to begin hostilities, we had no choice.
