It was never my intent to say that we do what we do for revenge. When we
began this conflict, there were a hundred dreams that we were
following...we carried the will of the wilderness that was struggling
against civilization to be free.
It was, however, my intent to show how utterly hypocritical Qeddwyn's
plea to save the creation of Iosyne was, when the mortals who inhabit it
have shown no such regard for the creations of other Divine. I believe I
illustrated -that- point quite clearly.
The citizens of Ashtan have never shown respect or regard for anything
in the realm except for each other. They have taken the gifts of the
Divine and squandered them. What they get is what they deserve - and
that was the message of my earlier post. The burning just served as an
example of why this is true.
