The eye of the beholder

Lady Ariel,

I must say I am very disappointed to see someone who once followed the
Teachings of Lady Slyphe become so extremely bittered and now opposes
Her every move with a fanaticism worthy of even the most extreme
Luminary (No insult intended).

I shall attempt to explain the points you have brought up in your post,
ignore them if you want to, call me a liar if it makes you feel better,
for truth is in the eye of the beholder.

First, let me attempt to explain this one more time. Kelsys already
exists, it is a city consisting of six glass domes that are build
somewhere on the ocean floor, out of the sight of the realm proper. We
never claimed it wouldn't be opened to public someday. What we did claim
however, is that the opening of Kelsys is totally unrelated from the
Jihad against Ashtan. If Ashtan survives, Kelsys might still open, if
Ashtan falls, Kelsys might still remain hidden. Whether or not Kelsys
will ever be open to public depends on the view of the Elders and the
opinion of its populace.

As for what we obtained during this Jihad. This is also something that
has been stated a few times, once Ashtan has been destroyed, the old
stagnated city will have been Eroded. Erosion is a necessary part of
Change, for the old world must disappear before a great Change such as
this will be able to take place, which takes me to the second part of
this issue.

After Ashtan has been razed, a new city will be build in its place. This
is part of the agreement we made with Spinesreach, the new city will be
totally different from the new one and will hopefully flourish like all
the other cities in the realm. This city will by no means be dominated
by the Deepwater Alliance, we have homes of our own and though I can't
say people won't leave for the new city, I can say that this city's
leadership will be completely independent and will be elected in a way
similar to all the other cities of Sapience.

I deliberately skip the issue of "biased" Administrators as it is OOC
and not for me to discuss.

I would like to clear up that the Cursing/Blessing war that took place
at the beginning of this war wasn't "deemed inappropriate" but as
everything, the Deities who chose to side with those on the side of the
Cursed for the sake of balance effectively cancelled the Blessings and
the Curses so that the general effect was next to nothing.

For this reason, the Deities involved decided that keeping people
Cursed, Hexed and Disfavoured wasn't worth the extreme drain of essence
and chose to spend Their essence on other things instead.

I hope my post has clarified some of the more obscure issues of this
war, if any questions are left over, don't hesitate to send me a tell as
I would be more then happy to explain any part of this post that might
need clarification.

Sincerely,
Omeg Tyrell
