It seems somewhat odd to be writing a post, rebutting the argument made
by someone 'on my side.' I regret that this is necessary.

I feel it necessary to make it clear to you that we who aide Divine
Slyphe's crusade, are helping to bring about the political -and-
physical destruction of Ashtan. That is: we aim to destroy the home of
quite a few people. This may or may not involve fires, but the end
result will be far more final than mere bushfires. The physical reality
of Ashtan will not recover.

Does this make Alamar/Ashtan's burning of the forests acceptable? In the
eye's of some, yes. It can be considered a valid argument. There are
arguments to counter this also, which appear equally valid in other
people's eyes. I am not posting now to make those arguments; merely to
assure the world that we are not blind to our position in this.
