Hail Aetolians, and the lesser species, Duiranites,

You. Are. Vile.

What an elegant phrase. I must applaud you on your ability to form
coherent sentences, how truly remarkable. As you are all well aware, the
once flourishing plants that Duiran used to feed its army have been
given a slight "touch up". The experiment proved successful, though not
without consequence. The "emotional" properties that these plants seem
to hold has been released with the miles of ashes left behind. Duiran's
lackeys have continued their demented reign of greed and propaganda, the
recent experiment indicating that the plant life they feed upon holds
extreme amounts of stupidity-inducing elements.

A short while after I was advised to go into hiding by my military
council, the leaf-eating fanatics somehow branded me an enemy of their
organization. Being made an enemy of the Druids came not long after
this. As you could imagine, being set as an enemy before war was
declared on Ashtan had cut me deeply. In the next few months, my
military advisors met with me, informing me that Duiran had entered the
war. This also, would not go without consequence.

Ideas were scribed immediately for the creation of a method capable of
striking at the heart of Duiran. The small tests seemed to work, though
the technique was still in need of slight "adjustments". These special
alterations were done to enable a large enough source of power to fuel
the burning of entire forests. All that was left was to use the product.
The attacks from Duiranite minions revealed an opportunity for just
that.

On the 7th of Chakros, midnight raiders were sent into the Central
Ithmia area. With the remaining "Crashing Waves" and Bloodloch Militia
eradicated from the area, the plan was executed. The raiders quickly
evacuated, unseen to all, operation "inferno" about to spread a
firestorm amongst the plant life. It did just that.

Primates, you have witnessed the offensive capabilities of Ashtan.
Continue to attack, and you will continue to have your food sources
depleted.

Overseer of Ashtan,
Alamar

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Slyphian, in the year 123 MA.
