Amen to that. There is another expression for it, which is
"asymmetrical warfare". It happens when one side is vastly
superior to the other in terms of numbers and/or weaponry.

The other side becomes desperate and instead of giving in to
its enemies decides to destroy everything around it. To those
of the "Alliance", you people have set out to destroy a nation
because Someone Powerful told you to. You deserve to see your
world destroyed in the process. To the brave Sentinels, you
have always strived for the destruction of Civilization. Your
chickens have truly come home to roost this time.
