Shortly after Bloodloch declared war during the second Ashtan/Bloodloch
war, Duiran attacked before declaring war itself and then lied about it.
At that point RL offered to help Ashtan.

Ashtan saw this as an opportunity to accomplish what Duiran had failed
for decades to do. In exchange for providing a home for RL, RL agreed to
stop causing harm to the forests.

RL did stop harming the forests. Both Lady Slyphe and several members of
Duiran were informed that this was part of the agreement between Ashtan
and the entity that calls itself RL.

Both Lady Slyphe and Duiran overlooked this reality when making their
decicions to destroy Ashtan. What happened a few short days ago is an
example of what RL is likely to continue doing when Ashtan loses. As
Spirokai has said 'They can consider regular burning of plantlife part
of the price of victory.'

Folks, that massive burning of plantlife would not have happened if
Duiran had refrained from participating in this conflict. If you are
looking for someone to blame for it, blame them.

I have no influence in Ashtan anymore, they have not consulted me
regarding any plans, including that massive destruction.

I can't even help replant because of the real smart people in Duiran.
