Neutrality

Obviously, you know little about the wilderness or the organizations
sworn to protect it if you think that this traitorous act by Alamar will
cause us to back down.

The Druids guild as a whole -is not neutral-. To truly be neutral is to
take a stance on nothing at all, to sit on the fence and watch the world
go by without impacting it. We are Matroned by the Lady of Change and
influenced by the Hunter - we learn from our first steps within the
guild that sitting on the fence gets you crushed by the forces of the
tides and the Rhythm.

The Druids have a stand. It is pro-wilderness. If a person harms the
wilderness, the Druids will be called into action. Will we sit, cowed,
like children and abandon our cause to "make the bad man stop burning
the trees"? No. To sit back and let Alamar get away with what he has
done is an insult to the bond a Druid has with his or her grove, and a
breech of the oath we take to the trees that allow us graciously to
imprint.

All these fires have done is strengthen our purpose. The wilderness,
given time, will heal itself. We Druids will see to that. But if you
think this action crushes our resolve, think again.

Like the wolf whose territory is threatened, we will bite you. Be
careful.
