Dear Ariel,

It would seem that a few people may think that you were wrong for
jumping up and defending your home as you should. I think for you
joining your militia without question just because your City and Home is
under attack is a good thing. Though with joining the militia you should
have known that ment you were a target in this war.
I will be the first to state that being a target in this war is no a
good thing. I was once a target and I quickly changed that. I looked at
both sides and thought that I did not want part with this war one bit,
and then to see my city...I am sorry my OLD city just jump up and defend
ashtan as well...well I was not happy. Sometimes that leaders of our
Cities jumps into something before asking the citizens how they feel.
Which is sad because the citizens are the ones who put them into their
positions in the first place. I am with you on this matter that I do not
know why this war is being played out as it is. If the City of Ashtan
wants to be useless and make no effort to this relm then why not let
them do just that. Although I do like the fact to see the city fall once
and for good, but really we will only be missing the ugly women and the
gamblers of the world in that city. Will we really miss them? I think
change is good and we should allow a new city to raise up in its place.
Who knows it might be a better use of space. But this is what the war
will decide. Saddly it still will not show whos right or wrong, because
at this point both sides have lost at least something. The only thing
this war will prove is if Ashtan is ready to let go of the world and
embrace a new beginning, or if Ashtan will still stand strong to much
surprise to the rest of the world.

the only thing we can do is sit back and watch. At least that is what I
am doing.
