My Dear Ariel,
First of all let me point out that no one forced you into anything,
choosing to side with your city is your own free choice, and in time of
war it is logical that people get enemied to the organisations involved,
however, that is not the point of this post.
What I find bothersome is that if Lady Slyphe really meant that much to
you, why you didn't look into Her reasons for attacking the city a
little deeper.
Ironically, in your last post you have given a perfect example of why we
are attacking your city. You had been slumbering for years, you hadn't
checked on your beloved home in years.
It isn't just you, it's your neighbours, their family, a large part of
the ruling council, half the ministries and the parrot that keeps flying
into the magi guildhall (though I have to say he is a quite active
member of the city.
You claim we do not know freedom but from personal observations it is
quite clear that the Ashtan concept of freedom encompasses the freedom
to do nothing and the freedom to stagnate.
And let's not forget the freedom to leave your city, which is a liberty
guilds and citizens alike have taken much use of.
In service of Change,
Omeg Tyrell
