The reasons I cited in My declaration of war are the actual reasons. I
know this is very difficult for many of you to understand, and that
there are many factions out there striving mightily to make you think
that I have some hidden agenda. For some reason it's much more
interesting to assume that I couldn't possibly be telling you the truth
and to make things up about what must "really" be going on.

I do not need land for Kelsys, I do not need commodities for Kelsys. It
is perfectly self-sustaining, and has been for a very long time. This
war is because Ashtan is a completely stagnant, imbalanced place that
never flourishes properly. I am removing it for that reason, and that
reason is sufficient for its removal. That you don't agree, that you
think I'm going too far doesn't change that *that is My reason*.
