Writing Contest

Well, we of Darkness and Evil aren't going to bloody stand aside while
the Flickers in Shallam try to beat us at one of the few things they
have a possiblity of proving their worth. If it be quill, blades, or
magic we will not be shown up by those who embrace those concepts. So,
the great city of Bloodloch will be holding it's own writing contest as
part challenge, part reward, and part fundraiser that will go to the
lengthing of the shadows and the stronger night.

Contestants that wish to join, Guild, Race, and City don't matter,
simpley need to send in an essay on what the terms Darkness and Evil
mean to them and how they affect the basic structure of Aetolian life.
The work will be judged on the sound arguement, clear opinions and good
expression, and a deep understanding for the topic. Length and stylish
writing isn't a winner here, just a passionate and profound essay that
sticks in the mind. Entries shall be submitted via letter, please
perserve them, with the name inscribed in them by the Midsummer, 122 MA.
Yes, I know that is the same date of the Shallam contest, but we can do
better with less time, no?

Please place an entry fee of 1000 gold within the letter. These funds
will be divided as follows, the winner gaining half the pot that was
entered with the addition of five credits, and the city of Bloodloch the
other half. So convince your friends and family to participate, larger
gold supply to win, and make sure to write essays worthy of your time
and patience. Who knows? Perhaps some of the best works shall be writen
down by a hard working scribe and placed within the libraries in
Bloodloch for all to see?

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Haernos, in the year 121 MA.
