I understand completely and fully why you adressed your post to the
blind. It is much easier sway people who do not look, think, or try to
understand for themselves. You are not the first to defend the
neutrality of a god, nor is your lady the first to claim neutrality
while acting in a predominantly evil fashion. It is the blind that "see"
the smallest of good deeds, regardless of the reason or intent call out
neutrality. It is the blind who follow the words of others without
stopping to think things through. It is the blind who ignore anything
contrary to what they want so desperately to believe. Lady Niuri, since
her waking in this realm, has consistantly worked to further the paths
of evil. Perhaps you do not see it as such because you yourself still
claim the neutrality of the Cabalists regardless of the skills you use
or any other evidence to the contrary. Perhaps you see it and since the
best way to spread evil is to slowly corrupt people you simply want to
sway opinions of what IS evil. I was not there but word is that Lady
Niuri performed the marriage ceremony of the demons and the angels. If
that is not so then that is one less thing she has done in this world to
further the cause of evil. That does not change where her loyalties and
ambition point. Severn claims to not be evil, the cabalists claim to not
be evil. I recall when the occultists did the same. As do the snakes,
spinesreach and many others. I constantly hear the argument "I say I am
not evil and I should know better than you." I so rarely see evil stand
up and admit to itself or any others what it is. Noone has claimed that
the search for knowledge is evil...that does not mean that your lady is
not. As with all things we can seek knowledge without her just as she
can do things other than seek knowledge. One so scholarly as yourself
should understand that a god/goddess and thier sphere of influence are
not one and the same. If you wish to continue in the idea that you or
she or any of the rest of the world that cloaks evil in neutrality are
neutral I ask you to start showing as much work and diligence in
furthering the cause of good and right as I see you work to further the
causes of evil. Simply claiming to be something does not make it so,
even for a god. Perhaps you haven't noticed but gods lie.
