A simple question, but one that needs asking.

If someone preaches and insists that they are the embodiement of
corruption, then why would they expect virtuous, honorable or
respectable behavior from their minions?
In an earlier post I dealt with the meaning of corruption, and what it
logically and inevitably leads to. So now we find that, the one who is
the essence of corruption complaining when their followers act within
that definition or according to the tenets of she stands for?
We have seen, since Chakrasul has arrived in this realm, her wholesale
disregard for her followers, in that she has repeatedly killed or cursed
them for their 'failures' to follow her every whim. This is but the
latest example of a policy that is hypocritical at best, or spiritual
slavery and abuse at worse.
How can someone that is the essence of putrification, decay, depravity,
and degeneration, speak with any authority or honesty about growth or
advancement? What is change according to corruption, but decay and
degeneration? How can a follower expect to be treated in a fair or
honorable manner, when those virtues are the antithesis of corruption?
Is this what her followers want, to be slaves and toys to the whims of a
being that cares nothing about them? Worship of a being that seeks only
their destruction and degeneration, and indeed the destruction and
degeneration of all life on Sapience?
As someone once, whimsically told me, "yeah, but she throws great
parties."
That may be true, but sooner or later, all parties come to an end, and
when this one ends, who will be left, and who will be discarded with the
refuse?
Think about it, and think about who will be next to share Daelar's fate?
Manyr already did, as also countless others have.

To defend, this is the pact.
but when life's scorned and damage done,
to avenge, this is the pact.
