Repayment of debts

Repaying debts can be quite satisfying.
Yet, for the benefit of those who are too young to remember the debt,
You should, perhaps, have been slightly more detailed. For their sake
I'll explain.
Before the formation of Duiran, Haern had made clear that He did not
wish those outside of His realm of influence a place in the support and
protection of the wilds. I always felt this was simply an example of
Haern's more conservative nature, but My arguments about the grave error
this would be made no impact.
After several unsuccessful discussions with Haern, I received an offer
of assistance from Another. A way to help everyone have a voice in how
the wilds were protected, for the benefit of all. Severn aided Me in the
creation of a second set of leaves that would serve to share the
influence of Duiran among all those impacted by it.
The leaves were scattered, and gathered, and the power balance of the
oak shifted. The purpose of the different leaves was discovered, but too
late to stop. Thus Haern was placed in a position of accepting My aid to
awaken Duiran. In turn, I owed Severn a debt for His assistance in this
endeavor.
Duiran awakened, and its duties and authority were shared out among
three Patrons, for a place was held for Lleis, against the time of Her
return. Had I not done this, Duiran would be closed, and Lleis and I,
and all who understand that they have a stake in the protection of the
wilds, would not be in a position to act as necessary.
This debt has weighed long on Me, and now it is repaid. I do not think I
would have done differently, had I known the form of the debt at the
time, for Progress must be made, even if it means a great sacrifice at
times.
