Nature's benefits

Dear friend...

Nature is far more than the harvestable herbs which grow in many
locations of the world. You could, theoretically, make every single
plant and animal extinct by building structures over every inch of the
land.

But trees will not grow through stone. Wolves cannot hunt brick and
mortar. If you cover the land in civilization....where can nature even
begin to plant its first seeds? What of the hundreds of animals that
would have been made extinct by civilization's arrogance?

There are several places on Sapience where the power of nature is seen
reclaiming back what civilization stole from it. But there was nearby
plantlife that could extend into the rubble and twist its thick vines
around the stone. If you destroy all of that...what is left for nature
to begin with?

Fondly yours,
Lady Rosalind Aruinn-Geas
