War

Addressed to: Everyone
I had heard the rumour quite a while back that Ashtan had asked
Bloodloch in assistance against us. I believe that Vermillion and I, as
well as most of Bloodloch's leadership have made it quite clear to one
another our city's, and our own personal, intentions. Bloodloch has
moved up past the rock for a reason, and what I can tell, that reason is
retaliation.
The territory that Shallam is capturing that is refered to previously is
the Liruma Scrublands. Yes, Ashtan was slow in thinking of
capturing....allow me to explain exactly why we did what we did.
We blocked their entrance into the area and their ability to capture
with our own troops. Why? Retaliation. The same was done to us in the
beginning of the capturing times with necromancers on the prelatorian.
It blocked the Shallamese swordsmen from the Ithmia, thus Shallam's
supply of wood has never been exactly abundant. Now we need more
leather, cloth, etc. that is found in the scrublands. We shall take it.
Bloodloch may go as far as they wish into the territory as they can get,
however, there is still the Aureliana between Bloodloch and the Liruma
Scrublands, so if Ashtan wants help defending this new territory and
recapturing what was theirs, they'll have to let Bloodloch go right
through them.
The position of Shallam in this event is neutral. None of my Militia
will aide or hinder either side in anything that is known to be a war
effort.
Good day.
