The fact remains that Ashtan has no actual cause. Ashtan is defending
itself from the cause of Bloodloch. Bloodloch has a cause, and the
question of whether that cause, I.E. gaining more steel-producing
territory, is just is one that will be viewed with polarity depending
upon the individual asked. As in all conflicts you are going to have two
distinct sides, and a shady grey area in the middle. Hopefully, most of
you are going to let Ashtan and Bloodloch have a go at each other for a
while, and stick around in the gray area, like myself. Both cities have
approached me countless times trying to hire me to kill others for them,
and I know for a fact that people like Murad have switched sides several
times during the conflict for a variety of reasons. Either way, both
sides are using tactics of war, and as this is clearly a war, I hardly
see the need for any further discussion of what is or is not "just."

None of you need to prove to the rest of the world whether your side is
in the right because everyone's opinions that matter are already set in
stone. The only course you have available to you at the moment is to
finish this conflict. Hopefully that won't be for a long time, as I am
rather enjoying the squabbling that is going on, but then who am I to
judge. As it stands Ashtan finally seems to be getting its footing and
creating at least some sort of resistance against the Bloodlochian
onslaught, but the effort needs to be turned up. You both need to keep
attacking at full force, otherwise you might actually come out of the
contest with some of your military units intact, and wouldn't that be a
shame?

If either side has an offer they really think I can't refuse, I'll
certainly listen. But unless you're just going to, I don't know,
temporarily induct me into the city for the sole purpose of acting as
your Minister of War for my own amusement, I highly doubt that I am
going to get involved. Sorry to all those who want to team me, but trust
me, you'll get quite an ample opportunity in time.
