Going Mental

My mind is caving in on me,
Distorting the images of what I see.
A rush of pain and a flash of heat,

I know that I have finally been beat.

My mind is warping, drawing me close,
I'm relying on medication on overdose.
To ease the pain so that I can see,
I feel my senses breaking around me.

To the outer world, can't you see,
The falseness in all of reality?
Your falling slowly in the Midnight Age,
In a maelstrom of falseness, caught in your cage.

But one thing, before I leave,
How come you can't see the Darkness' Eve?
It's here now, so damned close,
Stop pretending that it's a ghost.

Cheers.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Khepary, in the year 130 MA.
